Savannah had gotten people's help to set up everything on the beach for the party and she was pretty happy with the results. There was a table with food and drinks and another table for gifts. There were tiki torches spread around the area for light and ambiance. They had also made sure there was plenty of space for dancing and just flopping onto towels on the sand after playing in the water.

A banner was strung between two trees that read:

HAPPY BIRTHDAY JOHNNY!!

Isabel just looked smug.

"When are you going to teach him to use that flat iron, hm?"

"Never," she said rolling her eyes. "I love his hair. Just because you like the whole short thing doesn't mean everyone has to have it."

"Sure they do, babe, cause I'm totally awesome," he grinned wide. "It's my birthday you know."

"So now you're handing down birthday edicts are you?" Isabel laughed. "Everyone has to cut their hair? Even me?"

"What? Touch your hair and I will be very pissed, Isabel. No hair cutting for you, got me?"

Hands over her hair protectively, Isabel shook her head. "Nope. Never. I promise. ~~No matter what I did in season 3.~~"

"Good," he said satisfied. "Long hair on a chick is so sexy, which I'm sure Curly tells you often enough and you probably don't need me telling you your hair is sexy..." Er.

"So... have you been here long?"

Grinning, Isabel reached to loop an arm around Johnny's waist. "I'll just take it as they compliment you mean it as."

"I got here a while ago to help Savannah set up."

His arm went around her as well, and he squeezed a bit. "Good."

Good. Right.

"I wondered what she had been off doing, the sneaky little wench."

"That sneaky little wench, and I'd love to see you call her that to her face, was doing her best to make sure that the guy she's crazy about had a good birthday," she told him.

He raised a brow, grinned. "She likes it when I call her my little wench."

"I suppose it's better then Pookie Bear. Or is that what she calls you?"

"Yeah no..." he said, squeezing again. "I am not at all fluffy, Isabel." And he flexed his muscles just to prove it. Cause he was a guy and that's what guys do dammit.

"Not fluffy. Sleek," she replied. "And powerful apparently."

She had a boyfriend, yes. But no one said she couldn't appreciate the view.

Oh, that certainly boosted Johnny's ego, not that it needed it, but hey...

"Powerful. I like that word. Powerfully hot?" he asked, casting her a sideways grin as he heated his body a bit; well, more than normal at least.

Isabel rolled her eyes. "Show-off." But there was only fondness in her voice.

"Of course," he smirked. "When have you known me not to be?"

"Never," she admitted.

"And that's why you love me," he said low, grinning like the dork he is.

"You've found out my deepest secret," Isabel said, her eyes wide. "I thought I'd kept it hidden."

"Oh trust me, I'll never tell..." he held up his crossed fingers.

"Our secret?"

"Totally," he nodded. "Because I'm going to run as fast as I can to Wyatt and tell him in a hurry."

"You're just looking to cause trouble aren't you?" Isabel sighed. "You're hair will wind up pink."
