Elena and Clayton had shown up and as expected she got many hugs and some crankiness from Clayton. To her surprise, Bryce was here and he had been pretty civil.
However, the reason she was depressed and fighting back tears was because of a chance run-in with a friend of K-Mart's little sibling.
"I wasn't an experiment," she whispered to Destiny as the little dog whined and curled up next to her. "Eve and Kristof loved each other -- and me."
