Savannah had packed most of her stuff and sent it on to New York a couple of days ago.

All that was left now were some of her art supplies, her laptop, some clothes and of course, Destiny and her new kitten.

She really couldn't quite believe that this was it. After all, this had been her home for the last three years. Yes, she was excited about the new paths ahead of her and what she had plans to do, but leaving this place was still really hard for her.

She tried focusing on packing and organizing the last of her things, instead of letting herself get too sad about saying goodbye.

That probably wasn't going to work for very long.

[[OOC: Door and post are open! This is Savannah's last dorm post as she is leaving Fandom tonight to head out to New York. She will not be back for the 2nd summer session.]]

Savannah shrugged. "I honestly don't know, but I know it won't be too far in the future. You're going to be there, right?"

"Of course. I wouldn't miss it," Sam promised. "You seem really happy with him. I'm glad things worked out like this."

"Better not. Johnny makes me incredibly happy," Savannah agreed. "And he really loves me." She smiled. "I'm glad things worked out well with you and Peter, too."

"We've still got a while before marriage. I've still got to officially pop the question," Sam said with a laugh. "But I think it's going to happen, just like with you guys."

She grinned. "I think I knew that Johnny and I would end up getting married a long time ago," she said with a nod. "We just fit together so well."

"It's so nice to have that, isn't it?" Sam said with a nod. "It's like, one less thing to worry about, 'cause no matter what, they're going to be there."

"It really is," she said softly. "They'll never leave us on our own, and that's a good thing."

"Especially not once they've promised forever," Sam said. "I'm sorry you're leaving so soon. It's not going to be the same here without you."

"You're right," she said, thinking about that for a long moment. She gave him a slight smile. "After being apart for a year, Johnny and I wanted to spend some time together before I got wrapped up in art school." She shook her head. "I'm really going to miss you."
