Lawns In Front Of The Dorms, All Day

Once more it was Savannah and K-Mart who came up with an idea to keep their family's wee children occupied and out of trouble. (Hear the gods laugh and that last part.) They also thought this idea might help out some of their freaked out classmates who weren't used to this weekend happening.

Savannah had brought out art supplies for the kids, as well as set up a "practice ring" as both Mairin and Telyn demanded it. Created the ring ended up in an argument between the two girls as to whose practicing was more important. Luckily, LJ grabbed Mairin before she could do something her moms would regret... like say using a knock-back spell on the other little girl.

Once that was dealt with, Savannah, K-Mart and Gwynn ran to different stores in town to get supplies and things for any kids that happened to be dropped off at the play area for awhile, and LJ kept an eye on the girls for them.

Once they were done, there was a kiddie pool... a nicely sized one, an area set up for painitng, another for clay. There was a table with books and another one with coloring books and crayons or pencils. Yes, there was a practice ring roped off for those wee tiny warriors to practice... although either Gwynn, Savannah, K-Mart or Annja would be presiding over it to make sure "practice" didn't become "fight". A few yards away from the practice ring is an area with three targets set up. These are for the suction cup bow and arrow sets and suction cup pistols.



[[OOC: Yes, feel free to come to the lawns and either drop off your kidlets or do things here with them. Savannah and K-Mart thought this would keep their horde occupied. And no, it didn't even occur to them to charge other parents for babysitting. :D COME AND HAVE FUN!]]

Savannah was sitting under a tree and watching the kids carefully. She figured that there were enough things to do for even kids who got bored easily. She was drinking from her glass of iced tea and every so often her eyes would narrow for a second. That didn't last long as whatever kid had earned that look would seem to realize something was up and change the behavior.

"Tell me you've got alcohol here -- GABRIEL MARSTEN STOP STALKING PEOPLE -- because if not, I might just cry," Hope said, collapsing next to Savannah.

"Then gimme." Hope whimpered. "I'm so glad Ashley's got our daughter or you'd be witnessing attempted slaughter -- Helen and Gabriel keep trying to beat the crap out of each other."

"Actually, it's their screwed up way of showing affection, I think," Hope said. "Helen's been raised with fighting and Gabriel's part werewolf. Put those together... yeah."

Savannah laughed. "Oh if he's anything like Clayton, I can just imagine."

"Karl's a mutt," Hope explained. "So he's got a bit of a wild streak beyond even what Clayton has."

Ellie was taking advantage of her kids being occupied at the moment. She definitely welcomed a break for a little while.

Savannah handed her something cold to drink. "Alcohol free," she smiled.

"I have a feeling that will come later," Savannah said dryly.

Savannah laughed. "My daughters are Storm and Alice-Claire." She pointed to the girls. "My half-sister is Mairin." She pointed to the wee blonde with the sword in the practice ring. "My nieces are Jenna, Shawna, Stana and Psyche." She pointed out the girls in question. "My honorary nieces due to the fact they belong to my mother's best friend are Marion and Telyn." She pointed them out. "My honorary nephew and sorta stepson is LJ." Savannah pointed him out. Then she grinned. "I think that I got all of them. Which are yours?"

Annja was sitting here, keeping a close eye on her girls. She wasn't ready to let any of the four -- yes, Psyche, too -- out of her sight.
