For two years, Savannah had gotten used to waking up curled up next to a very hot guy with a cocky attitude. She always loved waking up with Johnny, so when she stated waking up and felt arms tighten around her, she didn't immediately realize that something was wrong.

"Mmm, morning Johnny."

The low laugh that was in her ear was not one that she recognized. Her eyes opened immediately and a yell found it's way out of her throat as she fought her way free of the arms and the bed to fall on the floor. This caused her to yelp in pain.

The man in leather leaned over the side of the bed to grab her hand to help her up. "Savannah! Are you all right? It would make me feel bad if you were hurt after you've taken such good care of me."

Savannah just stared.

Joan heard the yelp and wandered over to investigate. "Savannah? Everything okay?"

Savannah was still sitting on the floor, but the man yanked at her hand and pulled her up onto the bed, where she sprawled into his arms.

"Hello, Joan," the man who used to be a teddy bear wearing a leather jacket said. "You look nice today."

"Um... thanks?" Joan said. "Have we met?"

"I'm usually on Savannah's bed," he pointed out helpfully.

Savannah squeaked. "I don't have any other guy but Johnny --"

"And the teddy bear that he got you your first Valentine's Day."

Joan stared. "So you're a teddy bear?"

He nodded, helping Savannah get comfortable even though she batted at his hands.

"Savannah loves me so much so I'm here to take care of her."

Savannah looked at Joan. "My teddy bear is human..."

"That's..." Creepy. "Sweet."

Savannah might have whimpered a bit. She would agree that this was creepy.

"Do you have a name?"

He smiled widely at her. "Now, Savannah, you know my name is Danny. You changed it from Teddy because you thought it was less dumb than calling a bear Teddy."

Joan couldn't help but smirk at that. "Did you mis-cast a spell or something?"

Savannah shook her head. "I haven't done any magic for a few days."

"Hm. Weird. Maybe it's one of those Fandom things," Joan said.

"Oh god," she groaned. "How long do you think this one will last?"

"Why don't you come snuggle with me, Savannah?" Danny asked.

Savannah may have flailed a bit.

"Yeah, Savannah," Joan said. "You should cuddle your teddy bear."

Savannah glared at her friend. "You're not helping."

"Isn't that what teddy bears are for?" Joan asked innocently.

Savannah glared at her some more. "I can't snuggle with another man! I have a boyfriend!"

"And he gave me to you," Danny pointed out.

"And he's not technically another man," Joan pointed out.

Savannah whimpered. "He's not... and I have... and he was a teddy bear!"

Joan felt a little bad now. "Danny, why don't you come get breakfast with me?"

"What about Savannah? I'm supposed to take care of her."

"Breakfast in bed is totally taking care of her, right?"

"That is a wonderful idea," Danny agreed.

K-Mart heard Savannah yell in the next alcove and poked her head around to check.

"Whoa. Who's the hot guy?"

"Hello K-Mart. I'm Danny. I sleep with Savannah."

That sound you heard? Was K-Mart boggling. "And how long have you been sleeping with her?"

"For two years," he said quite calmly.

That sound, was Savannah banging her head on the wall.

K-Mart had already figured that this was obviously not a real guy, no matter how hot he was, so now she was trying to figure out what he was.

"... okay, I give up. Who are you?"

"Teddy bear," Savannah whimpered.

And that would be K-Mart looking around, paranoid, making sure nothing of hers had suddenly come to life.
