Thursday Evening, Room 217

Even though she was still in a little bit of shock over the earlier phone call, Savannah managed to make sure she was ready well before five.

It had taken her awhile to decide what to wear, but she had finally settled on a leather dress with boots that she had ende dup having to bargain with Paige in order for her to buy it. The outfit was stylish and enhancing without being skanky. She left her hair down free and only put on a little bit of make-up.

After that, she sat down to wait... as she kept re-playing the phone call from Sean Nast.

Johnny was in a great mood when he showed up at Savannah's door. Maybe it was the suit he chose to wear, maybe it was just his own self-confidence; whatever it was, he was looking forward to this evening.

He raised his knuckles and knocked lightly on the door.

Savannah ran a hand through her hair and then opened the door. She smiled at him. "Hey Johnny. You look terrific."

He smiled and took in her appearance, "Thanks, Savannah. You look so beautiful." In his hands he held a bow tied box of chocolates and handed them over to her. "For you," then he bent his head and kissed her cheek.

She smiled softly. "Johnny, these are great, thank you." She hugged him. "And thank you for the flowers, too." She pointed to where they were sitting on her desk. "I really appreciated them."

He grinned and shoved his hands in his front pockets. "Glad you liked them," he said, looking over at where they were sitting.

Cutting his eyes back to her, he quirked a brow and asked, "Everything all right tonight? You seem, I don't know, maybe a little preoccupied?"

Savannah shook her head. "No, I'm alright, really," she said with an easy smile. "I was just thinking about a phone call that I received earlier and need to talk to Eve about."

She tilted her head. "However, talking to or about Eve can wait."

Cocking his head, he studied her. "You want to talk to me about anything? I'm a good listener," Johnny said, smiling slightly and reaching for her hand.

Savannah squeezed his hand. "I got a call from my brother... Sean," she said quietly. "He's my half-brother, same dad... I've never talked to him before, much less met him."

"That's weird," he replied. "So he just calls you out of the blue and drops this on you - Sean you said?" Johnny frowned. "I met a Sean the other night at Caritas. Course I was drunk, er, a little on the tipsy side, but I rememeber him. Sean Nest...no no...Nast? I dunno, something like that."

"Sean Nast. That's him and he really is my brother. Our father was Kristof Nast. Unlike the rest of the Nasts... he doesn't hate me."

"He seemed like a nice guy, course, like I said I wasn't exactly fully functional so I could have missed something interesting about him. He's young. What's he doing here?"

Savannah tilted her head. "Coming to get to know and look after his baby sister?"

"Ah, well, good reason." he said. "Nice to wait till you're nearly grown to do it."

Savannah smiled at him. "You're worried."

"Concerned," Johnny said, meeting her eyes. "I don't like to think of you being hurt. In any way."

She looked into his eyes and nodded. "I appreciate that, Johnny."

"It's the truth, Savannah." He smiled warmly and stepped closer to her. "Are you ready to leave yet?"
