Savannah was not planning to get out of bed any time soon. The weather report she had read last night had said it was going to be cold and rainy... not that she was geting up to go to the window to check if that had been accurate.

No, not ready at all to move away from the warm body of her boyfriend that she was curled up against.

Johnny wasn't ready for her to move either. She was soft and warm and he loved the feel of her against him.

She couldn't think of anything better than staying like this for awhile and being held by him.

A murmur of contentment sounded in his throat, his fingers splaying over her back. "I've been thinking," he said low, almost whispering, "about what to get you for Christmas."

"Oh?" Her voice was soft against his chest.

"Mm," he murmured, again. "I don't want to be... normal this year. I always get you jewelry."

"You know that I'll like whatever you get me," she said softly. "It's from you."

"Is there something specific you'd like this year?" he asked her, trailing his fingers up and down her back.

"Honestly, love? I hadn't thought about it," She really hadn't. She'd been thinking of what to get him.

"Then I will surprise you," he said, holding her close. "And you may have wished you told me." Chuckling, he kissed the top of her head.

Savannah laughed softly. "Honestly, love, anything you get for me or do will be plenty because it's you."

"So when you open up a pair of socks, you'll love me forever and ever?"

"Depends on what they look like," she laughed.

Johnny laughed, kissed her hair again. "We should put up a tree."

She nodded. "Yes we should."

"And it should be shiny," he told her.

"Shiny is definitely a must, I agree."

"Lots of lights?"

"Purple or blue ones?"

"Both," he decided. "And red, and white, and all colors. And can we have that tinsle stuff? And candy canes?"

"Sounds like a plan," she nodded. "I'll have to put a barrier spell on the tree while we're at classes and stuff so Destiny doesn't eat the candy canes."

"Forgot about her. Oh, but we need to make popcorn garland too," he nodded, thinking about how cool their tree was going to look.

"Do you know how to make one of those? I don't."

"You've never made popcorn garland?" he asked her, surprised. "I thought most kids knew how to make it. It's easy to string it up."

Savannah chewed on her lip. "Eve and I never did that, so no, I don't know the first thing about it."

Johnny angled his head to look down at her. "You did have a tree though, right?"
