Room 217 Friday, Afternoon

Savannah wasn't at the store today. She had woken up with a headache and when she called Sean, he said the store could just stay closed today.

By noon, the headache had reached a manageable level... and she had decided that working on her latest painting would be a good idea. She was standing at the easel, running the brush along the canvas as she sang along with the stereo.

"Hi babe," Johnny said as he walked in after his fitness class, and after showering.

"Not working today?"

She looked up from painting, and there was a blue streak of paint along her cheek.

"No. This morning I had a really bad headache, and Sean told me to stay in. The pain started to become more manageable, so I thought instead of being lazy in bed all day, I could do some painting."

"Aw, sweetheart," he murmured stepping close and reaching up with his hand to wipe the paint with his thumb from her cheek.

It was then that he noticed the music, and more importantly the lyrics.

He cocked his head, raised his brow. "You like this song?"

She looked up at him and nodded. "Uh huh. It's pretty cute and adorable."

"You, uh, have you ever kissed a girl before, Savannah?"

Savannah shook her head. "No. I mean, I don't have anything against it and it seems like it might be fun... but there was never really anyone around until I came here... and I enjoy kissing you too much to ever risk that." She smiled at him. "I'm not the type to cheat on the guy I love."

"I... don't think it would be cheating. If we... um, both agree to it."

She looked at him, trying to see if he was serious.

"Johnny? Would you enjoy seeing me kiss a girl?"

"Would you hate me if I said yes?"

She looked confused. "Why would I hate you?"

"Maybe hate is a bad word choice. More like... I wouldn't want you to do it just to please me because oh yeah, I would love it."

She smiled at him and her eyes were teasing. "Well, as long as I'm not auditioning my replacement, I think it could be fun."

A beat.

"So, think we could ask someone?"

"Did you have someone in mind?"

She blushed a little.

Johnny cocked his head, stepped closer to her. "Who do you have in mind, doll?"

She blushed a little more. "There's a few girls that it could be... fun to kiss."

"Tell me."

She chewed on her lip. "Angela Montenegro is pretty hot... so is uhm... Ino."

"Angela," he mused. "I've not met her. Think I should meet this chick and Ino is hot; totally a great kisser. Er, I mean you know, when we were our older selves."

"Angela's awesome, and she's an artist like me. And Ino... she just has such spirit and she seems really cool... and she's hot, too."

She remembered bits and pieces of the reunion and didn't comment because, well, they had broken up...

"What about a threesome with another guy?"

"Again, it would depend on the guy and making sure he knew it was just for fun and stuff and not for serious involvement." She swallowed. "And it could be very pretty."

"Definitely for fun. I don't want a serious relationship with anyone but you, sweetheart," he told her, cupping her cheek in his hand.

And that made her melt inside. She met his eyes and nodded, a soft smile on her face. "Got anyone in mind?"

"No. Not really. Ronan, but no... don't think that will work. I did meet this one guy, his name's Toby. He's pretty hot."

"No, not Ronan. That would be bad," she said quietly. "Toby? Oh yeah. Toby's in my Karaoke class."

"Yes," he agreed softly. Ronan would be bad. "Is he? Maybe you could gently... bring it up?" he suggested. He could ask Ino, but asking Toby? Um, that was a little different for Johnny.

It would be bad because Savannah liked Ronan and didn't want him hurt that they only wanted to play around.

"I'm... I'm sure I could talk to him. He seems very... relaxed."

"Is this something that would be hard for you to do, the asking? Because if it is, I understand and wouldn't want you to, sweetheart."

She gave him a serious look. "If you don't mind the flirting with him as we talk, then I don't mind bringing it up."

She didn't know if it would be hard for her or not.

Hm. He had to seriously think about that for a moment. "...no, I wouldn't mind."

Savannah took a breath, thinking about this. She wasn't sure how she would feel about flirting with another guy... but, Johnny seemed to like this idea and it was a very intriguing thought.

"I'll see what I can do then, love."

"I love you," he whispered.

Savannah nodded and looked into his eyes. "I know. I love you, too." She reached out to stroke his cheek.

She just hoped that this idea to explore have some fun didn't backfire on her.
