Savannah had come back to the hotel after work and after saying goodbye to Isabel and Wyatt -- and wow did that ever suck big time. She was sitting on the couch playing with the envelope that contained a very thick letter that she had written to Johnny on Isabel's advice.

Unfortunately, she was thinking about everything and was fighting back tears...

...mostly.

She lay her head against the back of the couch with a sigh. The last two weeks had really been very bad.

After his conversations with Isabel and Summer, Chris knew he needed to find Savannah.

Luckily, part of being a whitelighter meant he could sense his charges. He orbed to the hallway outside of the hotel room and knocked on the door.

Savannah looked around when she heard the door. She stared at it for a moment and then went to open it.

"Hey," she said quietly. "Come on in."

Chris frowned. "Hey," he said. "I'd ask how you are, but it's pretty obvious you're not doing very well."

"It's been a really bad two weeks, Chris."

"Yeah, I know," he said, pulling her into a hug.

Savannah hugged him tightly. She didn't speak for a long moment, just hugged him.

"You wanna talk about?" Chris asked quietly.

"It hurts so much," she whispered.

"I know," he said. "What can I do?"

"I don't know," she whispered. "I don't know what to do."

Chris pulled back and looked at her. "Well, practicing dark magic alone and buying motorcycles isn't the way to cope."

She sighed. "You heard about that?"

"I'm your whitelighter, Savannah," he said. "Of course I know what you've been up to."

Savannah looked down at the floor and shrugged a little. "I ... I uhm..." She sighed.

Chris put his hand on her shoulder. "You need to talk to Johnny."

"What am I supposed to say that he doesn't already know, Chris?"

"I don't know," he admitted. "But this is tearing you up and we have to figure out a way to help you cope with this better."

"I don't know how to deal any other way. My magic and kicking ass is how I have always dealt with pain and stress before -- but this isn't something I've ever dealt with before."

Chris nodded. "I know. And I'd love to beat Johnny's ass for making you feel this way."

She shook her head. "I don't want his ass kicked, Chris."

"Well, if you do something that gets you hurt, he will get his ass kicked," Chris told her.

"Can't hold him responsible for my actions, you know," she tried to point out.

"Sure I can," he said. "You wouldn't be self-destructive if he hadn't been an asshole. Cause and effect."

She sighed and offered him a seat. "You sound a little like Mom and Sean. I'm not his fault."

Sean knew Savannah wasn't coping terribly well, which was why he never freaked any time he came into the store and found that she'd rearranged everything yet again.

He did, however, worry a lot. And that worry showed as he let himself into the room. "Hey," he said softly as he let himself in.

"How badly did you rearrange the store today?" he asked as he plopped down next to her on the couch.

"Uhm.... it's all redone."

He bit the inside of his cheek hard to fight off a facepalm. "Is there at least logic to where everything is?" he asked hopefully.

"To the penguins it does?"

Sean winced. "Tomorrow, please try and group stuff logically?"

Notice he didn't tell her to stop. Such a good brother.

"That works," he said agreeably. And then he wrapped an arm around Savannah, pulling her into a hug.

Savannah hugged him. "I need to figure out what to do, Sean."

"Yeah, you do," he said, holding her. "I can't help you make your decisions, but I'm more than willing to be a sounding board if you want."

"I know, sweetheart, I know." He sighed and pressed a kiss to the top of her head. "Believe me, I know."

She had tears sliding down her face. "I miss him so much."
