Savannah had gotten people's help to set up everything on the beach for the party and she was pretty happy with the results. There was a table with food and drinks and another table for gifts. There were tiki torches spread around the area for light and ambiance. They had also made sure there was plenty of space for dancing and just flopping onto towels on the sand after playing in the water.

A banner was strung between two trees that read:

HAPPY BIRTHDAY JOHNNY!!

She smiled, moving closer. "And after the party I'm thinking that you should enjoy me more..."

"Mm, I definitely will," he whispered, easily lifting her to settle in his lap. "This night... it's perfect, Savannah, and I love you for it."

She smiled, leaning in to kiss him. "I'm glad you're enjoying it, love. I love you."

His hand found her cheek and he kissed her deeply. "I love everything."

"I am so happy you're having a good night."

"I'm looking forward to later too; I'm afraid you might not get any rest, sweetheart."

"Good thing your birthday was kind enough to land on a Friday then."

"Absolutely... the thirteenth at that," he commented with a wry grin.

She nuzzled his neck. "Friday the 13th has always been a very good day for me."

"Has it?" he asked, tilting his head so she could have better access while his arms held her close. "Hopefully this one will top them all."

"Always," she nodded, kissing the base of his neck. "Of course this one will. You're here."

He closed his eyes. The feel of her lips was driving him mad. "Sweetheart... careful... you'll have me carting you back to our room before you can blink twice."

She stopped and hid her face against his neck. "Sorry love. I don't want to cut your night short."

"I've enjoyed my night, Savannah, all of it. I'm looking forward to my time with you now."

She kissed him again, and ran her hand through his hair. "I am, too, love."

"You're so beautiful. I don't do enough for you..."

"You do plenty for me," she said softly. "You're you... and you love me, and you treat me right."

"But not lately... lately I've been wrapped up in other things and I want to take you out, show you how I feel," he said, chuckling with embarrassment. "I totally know how to be a boyfriend, honest."

In her opinion, he did just fine, but if he wanted to do this, then she wasn't going to argue about it.

"You are a great boyfriend, Johnny." She ran her fingers along his cheek. "If that's what you want to do, then I'm all for it."

"I haven't seen Sean around lately; you talk to him any?" he asked, changing topics because he had been thinking of him, wondering where's he been.

Savannah nodded. "I have been talking to him. He's a little freaked that the island keeps moving, but as long as we're safe, he's happy."

"I think it's been totally cool," he grinned. "Freaky, yeah, but cool. Think of the places we've seen that otherwise we might not have?"

She grinned and nodded. "That's what I told him. It's been a lot of fun seeing all of these places."

"It has," he agreed. "And here is especially gorgeous. I did a bit of windsurfing the other day. Totally awesome."

"Now that is something that looks like a lot of fun."
