Savannah was in a remakably cheerful mood, especially given her Ethics Class today.

Obviously, her teacher didn't really understand the Savannah Levine way of parenting. That would be why what the baby showed Anakin looked remarkably like Savannah reading a story to the little fake spawnlet.

The baby was very quiet as she read to him.

"Now, Cairo, this is the Demon Summoning Spell and how it works is you do..."

Those children's picture books were changing all of the time...

Eve knocked at the door, her droid baby balanced on one hip.

Eve let herself in. "Reading to the spawn from one of the grimoires? Awesome."

Hey, where do you think Savannah learned her parenting from, anyway?

"Demon Summoning spell," she said with a grin.

"Okay, but remember -- no actual demon summoning until the baby's six months old," she teased.

"I figured he could start with summoning gremlins first..."

"But why would you want to summon gremlins?"

Savannah said a few words and then looked at her mother with a gleam in her eyes. "I do so like the Privacy spell." She tilted her head. "Well... if he was summoning them in Professor Skywalker's office..."

"Okay, now I'm liking the idea." Eve went to sit next to Savannah. "But do gremlins count as demons?"

"Well... I'm kind of re-writing it for him because in this place they totally do... but I'm teaching it to him in Japanese since I've been writing some spells like that since I took Yodaime's class."

"Oh, now that? Is an excellent idea." Eve grinned. "I knew I had a smart kid."

She grinned back. "I have good genes from my mom."

"I'm going to bring down the Privacy spell now," she said. She waved her hand and said something, then looked at her mom. "I named him Cairo."

"Guess you really liked Egypt, huh?" Eve shifted her own droid baby who doesn't have a name yet because it's still being played out and looked at her daughter. "And more importantly, you never told me if you brought me back anything."

She pouted. "Did you? Did you? Huh?" And then she started giggling.

"It wasn't home," she said quietly. "And spawnlet needed a name." She grinned. "I have a harem outfit for you."

"And every kid's name should have some kind of story behind it. You can't get much more of a story than that." She grinned. "Harem outfit? Really? Sweet."

Savannah was trying not to giggle. "I have the best mom ever."

"So... I told Johnny everything about my nine months away last night..."

"And just how much flailing did he do?"

"Have you met Johnny?"

"I.. I don't think he liked hearing about some of the things I got into."

"I'm sure he didn't. He's an incredibly overprotective boyfriend -- which is as it should be, mind you. But it makes for cranky at some of the things we've been known to get up to."

"He is so going to hate the Nasts when he figures out what's going on with that, you know."

"Now let's just hope he doesn't hate Sean or you two are going to be having all manner of fights."

"I don't think he could ever hate Sean... he does know that Sean is the only member of my father's family who doesn't hate me. However, he also knows if Paige and the Pack find out Sean is here... I'll be yanked from Fandom and hidden away."

"So does that mean we can count on him not to tell them?"

Savannah nodded. "Yeah it does. He doesn't want that to happen... and you know what he thinks about Clayton and Adam."

Eve snorted. "Yeah, I definitely know what he thinks about them. I think everybody in a thirty mile radius knows."

"They really upset him, mom."

"They're not exactly on my list of favorite people, either," Eve said. "Not loving the whole lack of trust in me thing they've got going on."

"I'm not real fond of it... but at least Paige and Lucas have trust in you."

"And you have no idea how grateful I am for that. Because it really is important that your guardians trust me."

"It really is... and Paige knows how hard it was."

"And them trusting me means they're more likely to let me have a say in what happens in your life."

"They don't have a choice in that," Savannah said in a voice that was way too calm.

"Well, them trusting me means I'm more likely to have a say in your life and not have major problems crop up as a result of it," Eve amended.
