Room 217, Early Morning

Johnny was sleeping when Savannah slipped from the bed to get dressed. She sent a message on her phone to Wyatt. When she leaned over to kiss him, he murmured a little.

"Baby?"

"I'll be right back soon, love. Wyatt is helping me with something real quick and then I'll be in class."

"Be careful."

"I will. I'll see you soon."

She kissed him again, left him a text message about going out to the preserve with Wyatt and then slipped out the door.

Johnny fell back asleep and didn't wake up until sometime later. Savannah was still gone and he frowned, reaching for his phone. The text message bothered him but as long as she was with Wyatt, he felt she would be safe.

He could never be more wrong...
