After retrieving her items she needed from her room, Savannah had made her way to a far part of the Preserve. She had been in this place several times and she knew it well.

She needed to bring her mom back!

She focused her energies into making a perimeter shield where she would be casting the summoning spell. Last time, everything had gone wrong because she hadn't taken the time to take the proper precautions. This time there would be none of those mistakes. This time, no one would get hur but her if things went wrong.

She made a wide circle to work in to protect the others on the island and then she set to work.

She would not fail this time.

The redhead sent the fireball flying back to hit Savannah in the chest. She stumbled back in pain, but she said something else in Latin and a shape started forming withing the circle where the two were fighting.

"If you had just come with me, your mom would still be alive."

Savannah shook her head ans a branch slammed into Leah.

"I'm not going to be anyone's little slave witch, Leah! You should have stayed dead!"

... the hell? Wasn't Leah the name of the demon who had tried to kidnap Savannah before she came to Fandom?

"Savannah!" he called again, trying to get her attention so he could help her better.

Savannah slammed into a tree. She seemed to be entirely focused on Leah -- and didn't seem to hear or see Chris.

This woman had torn her life apart -- again -- and she was going to make her pay.

Chris started over to check on Savannah, but got side-tracked by... whatever it was... that one of them had summoned.

The thing got in a couple of good hits before Chris managed to use his TK to choke it.

Savannah got back to her feet and retrieved a small book that she had been holding. She read something from it and another shape appeared.

"Mom, please... you have to come back," she cried out as she started summoning again.

"Savannah, please!" Chris begged. "Let me help you."

Again, Savannah read from the book, not seeming to be aware of anything but Leah -- and whatever spell she was trying to cast.

Leah, for her part, seemed amused as she slammed another spell at Savannah. "You should have just done this the easy way and Eve would still be alive. How does it feel, kid, causing the death of your mom twice?"

Around then was when white lights swirled nearby and Chris spotted his brother, his aunt... and Eve.

Oh thank god.

"Savannah! Your mother isn't dead! She's over there."

When Savannah went to the ground again, her head slammed down. As her eyes focused, she caught sight of someone she didn't think she'd ever see again.

"Mom?" She got to her feet and looked around. "Chris?"

Chris TK'd Leah back when she tried to advance on Savannah and he hurried over to her.

"Are you okay? What can I do?"

Savannah blinked up at Chris and now that he was closer, it was obvious she was hurt -- and exhausted. "She wants to take me back... my father or Gemini... I won't go."

"Damn right you're not going," Chris said, putting his hand on her shoulder.

"She hurt... killed... Eve."

"Eve is fine. She's right there," Chris said, pointing.

Savannah struggled to get to her feet. "My spell?"

If Chris had to guess, he would assume that Wyatt healed her, but he shrugged. "Doesn't matter, she's okay."

Savannah pointed at Leah. "She's supposed to be dead..."
