Savannah... had the beginnings of a plan that was forming in her mind.

It was a very good idea... well, as far as the students were concerned. The Princilady with sticks in her orifices may not like it.

She was making notes and from time to time, she picked up her phone to place calls.

The latest announcement from Umbridge had made Savannah realize thatit was time for her to engage in her own special form of revenge and aggressive tactics.

This, was a dangerous thing.

The door was open and her new stero was playing...

"I have a plan, Lana. A plan to piss off that bitch... but first..." She bit her lip. Lana was Phoebe's best friend, no matter what Savannah thought about her right now. She'd know if she was okay, right? "Have you seen Phoebe?" She didn't want Umbridge to hurt Phoebe because that would hurt too many people Savannah cared about.

Lana shook her head. "I've been laying low," she said. "She made Jim move out of our room, so we've kind of been sneaking around staying in each other's rooms at night."

"Lana... Umbridge called Phoebe into her office today."

Lana's face fell. "Oh, no. Is she all right? Do you know what happened to her?"

Savannah shook her head. "I don't know. I just heard the announcement is all. I figured you would know if she was."

Lana shook her head. "I didn't even hear the announcements this morning," she said. "Oh, I feel terrible." And she did. Worried and sick to her stomach and miserable.

"Do you really think that that bitch would hurt her... knowing what some people would do to her if she did?"

"I think Umbridge is capable of just about anything," Lana said dully.

"I don't know how powerful Umbridge is," Lana said. "But she clearly thinks she has enough backing to get away with this. And as a normal in the world of Fandom... I'm always wary."

Savannah frowned. "Eve and I won't allow you to be harmed, Lana."

"If either of you happens to be around when something goes down," Lana said. "It's not that I doubt your intentions in any way. It's just... things happen here. Really bad things have happened to me here and no one has been able to stop them. I don't trust in much."

"You trust Phoebe... how did she earn such trust?"

"We've been through some... amazing things together - good and bad," Lana said slowly. "And we both know that the other one will be there for us as much as is humanly possible. But we also know that not everything can be prevented and sometimes you just need to be around to help the other person pick up the pieces."

"That trust... that's an interesting thing. I've never trusted a lot of people."

Savannah nodded. "I'm sure if that woman does anything to her, Bel and Anders will make her wish she's never been born... not to mention Wyatt and..." Savannah stumbled sadly. "...Chris."

Lana looked at her curiously. "Is something wrong with Chris," she asked. "Are you okay?"

Savannah shrugged. "Of course I am. I just didn't know that Chris' roommate wanted him or I never would have asked him out."

"Okay, so that's an odd non-answer if I ever heard one," Lana said, blinking. "But you don't have to tell me if you don't want to."

"His roommate hates me," she said with a shrug. "Thinks I'm a slut." She fought to keep the hurt out of her voice.

"What?" Lana looked shocked. "How could she think something like that?"

"Called me a skank because Johnny is staying here so she thinks we're having sex." She stiffened her chin and lifted it. "We're not."

Lana winced. "Wow. I'm sorry. But Savannah... it is Johnny. I might ask first, because I know you, but if I'd just heard he'd moved in with you... I'd probably think you two were sleeping together too. Not that that makes it okay for her to call you names, of course."
