Room 217, Friday Evening

Savannah had spent a lot of time getting ready for the night after she had come back from the carnival.

After showering and pulling her hair up, she started carefully getting dressed. The first to go on was the surprise she had bought for Johnny on the shopping trip with Gwynn and Eve. Once that was situated correctly, she pulled the dress on very carefully so as not to snag anything. Once she was dressed, she worked on her hair for awhile in order to make sure it looked perfect. When she finally liked how her hair looked, she carefully applied a little make-up. Satisfied with how she looked, she pulled on her shoes.

Now all she needed was her date.

For dances such as these, Johnny always left the room for Savannah so she had plenty of time to get ready. He never minded because when he opened the door, he enjoyed more than anything, having her take his breath away.

Tonight was no different. When he walked in he stopped and gazed at her from head to toe, appreciating her beauty. "Savannah, you are amazingly beautiful."

Savannah turned to look at him and smiled at his compliment, a small blush warming her face.

"Than you love. I'm glad you like it." She walked to him, careful on the shoes, and placed her hand on his arm. "I think you look incredibly handsome."

Johnny smiled at her, his eyes moving over her. When she was close, he bent to kiss her pretty mouth. "God, you're sexy as hell. And thank you, sweetheart." In his hand was her wrist corsage. "May I?"

Savannah smiled and nodded, extending her hand out to him. "Of course, love."

He slipped the elastic gathered ribbon over her hand, settling the corsage in hopefully a comfortable manner on her wrist. Johnny thought simplicity lovely and the corasage did not overpower her gown. "And now, would you care for your birthday gift, sweetheart?"

Her eyes were shining at him when she looked down at the corsage on her wrist.

"It's so pretty." She lifted her face to meet his eyes and nodded. "Yes, please."

"You're so pretty," he said, taking her chin between thumb and forefinger, lifting it gently as he bent his head to kiss her once more.

Drawing back, he smiled and withdrew the Tiffany box from the inside pocket of his jacket. And he presented it to her.

She opened the box and then gasped in surprise as she lifted the bracelet out of the box. "Johnny..." She looked at him. "It's amazing."

He watched her face. "You... like?"

She nodded, unable to speak. Instead she leaned up to kiss him deeply.

Johnny kissed her back, inhaling, his hands resting on her hips to pull her closer. God, she was perfect.

She thought the same thing about him and wrapped her arms around his neck.

"Let me put it on you?" he asked low, murmuring against her lips.

Savannah nodded and held the bracelet and her her wrist out to him.

Johnny put in on the one that wasn't wearing a flower and man, he whistled low, it was gorgeous on her. "It looks lovely on you."

Savannah looked down at her wrist and then looked at him. "I love it. I love you."

"And I love you and wanted you to have something that proved it to you."

"I appreciate that, Johnny," she softly, stroking his face. "But I don't ned something like this to prove it to me. Your eyes do that everytime you look at me."

He blushed, humbled. "Thank you."

He gave her his arm, "Shall we?"

She kissed him again, and then pulled back to wrap her arm through his.
