Wednesday Afternoon, Room 217

After her class, Savannah had come back to the room and changed into shorts and a tank top. She and Johnny hadn't gotten to talk after the play last night because she had passed out as soon as they got back. So, now, she was laying on the bed, going over the handouts she had been collecting from her Cryptozoology class and organzing them with her own notes she had been taking. She'd be adding this information to her grimoires in the knowledge sections.

Johnny came in straight after work. Well, he'd grabbed a shower first. Always liked to smell good for his lady.

Anyway, there he was, walking through the door in a towel and proceeded to get dressed. "Hey, babe," he said casually, glancing over at her. "Whatcha up to?"

She looked up from the notebooks and smiled at him. "Just organizing my Cryptozoology information. How was your day?"

"Freaked the kitchen staff out again," he laughed, pulling a t-shirt over his head. "And you actually have information from that class to organize?"

"Well, some of the information I've been learning can be used to balance out some things I knew and didn't know about being a witch/sorcerer and having the most information on anything strange is a good thing -- and is more likely to keep me out of trouble." She tilted her head. "What did the kitchen staff do this time?"

"You mean cryptzoowhatever doesn't deal with zoo animals?"

"Um. Nothing. I was just.. you know.. messing around."

Savannah nodded. "We were telling each other about creatures from our own worlds." She swallowed. "I talked about demons and half-demons. I may have kind of left out that Mom is half-demon and I have demon blood. I wasn't ready to field questions about that."

Johnny didn't particularly like the thought of Savannah having demon blood. He would, wisely, never mention that.

"So... we never got to talk, did we?"

Probably good if he didn't since it would hurt -- and it wasn't something that she or her mom had had any choice in, after all.

"No, we didn't. I'm sorry I fell asleep on you last night after we got back."

He knew that and it was never an issue with him. He just could help but wonder about the future.

Johnny smiled at her and sprawled on the bed next to her. "You were tired, baby. We can talk now if you feel up to it."

The future would be fine. She had turned out all right, hadn't she? Of course, that demon blood also gave her an extra boost to her powers and her energy. It was a mostly good thing.

She closed the grimoire and notebooks. "Talking now is fine, love."

Mostly good he could live with. Definitely. He loved her after all.

Johnny was perhaps, tentatively afraid to begin this conversation. He felt a little on edge about the whole thing.

"Did I mention I spoke to Ino... and Angela?"

She shook her head. "How did that go?"

She was a little on edge, too, but since she didn't realize he was on edge, she was doing her best to downplay it.

"Great," he said, giving her a small smile. "Ino's game. She just wants to talk to you first, make sure you're good with it."

Savannah nodded. "Cool. I don't mind talking to her and reassuring her." She smiled back at him.

He studied her face. "Savannah, are you seriously cool with this?"

"Nerves I guess," she said, trying to downplay it. "Are you?"

"Yeah, I think. I mean, I've been... with a guy before, you know? I kind of know what to expect going along with Toby, but I'm a little concerned about you and Ino."

Savannah worried her bottom lip. "What exactly are you worried about, love?"

"Um, I guess if you could just.. you know, be with a girl."

She took a breath. "I don't know, Johnny... but I think... if Ino is willing to, it would be a nice thing to try?" She looked at him. "I mean, I won't lie... I'm kind of scared about messing up somehow."

Or being laughed at. Or letting themn down. Or...

He leaned over, brushed his lips across her cheek. "You could never mess up anything like this. And I have to tell you honestly, I'm kind of excited to watch you."

She blushed. "Can I be honest and say I'm less nervous about trying things with Ino than I am about Toby?"

She had never thought about being with any guy but Johnny so it was a little... new?

"Yes, you totally can and really that makes sense. I'm more nervous about being with Toby too," he smiled. "I guess too, my ego has me worried. Toby's a hot guy, you know? What if he... um, you know... makes you feel better?"

She stared at him, her eyes full of confusion at that. "No. That isn't even a possibility, Johnny. I'm *your* girl. I love you." She leaned in to kiss him. "You're the only guy I want, Johnny. The only one I need."

He kissed her deep, his relief evident. "I'm not doubting you, you know that, right?"

She nodded. "I know that, sweetheart." She met his eyes. "If it does bother you? It's not something we need to do, okay? Just so you know." Because they were doing this to have fun and if it was going to upset him? Then she didn't want to do it.

"Same with you, all right? It bothers you tell me and we quit. I think it sounds fun and with willing participants, it can be an experience," and he supposed it would be prudent to mention that he's does this before?

"Savannah? I've done this before, but um, never with another guy."

"Did you have fun?" She smiled. "I'll make sure I tell you if it bothers me... and... Johnny? This isn't going to be all the time, is it?"

"Until I got caught," he grinned. "I was in a flight simulator and uh, ended up breaking it."

He leaned close to her. "No, it isn't, sweetheart. I love you, only you."

"You broke it?" She giggled. She shook her head running her fingers along his face. "You're the only one who has my heart."
