Room 217, Tuesday Evening

After the visit to the clinic, Johnny had brought Savannah back to their rooms. After she got changed into something more comfortable, he had tucked her into the bed.

Curious by all of this, Destiny had jumped up on the bed to curl up against her, as well.

After telling him that she didn't think she should take the meds on an empty stomach, Johnny had left water beside the bed and headed out to get food.

"Stay in bed," he ordered as he left. "I'll be right back."

She kept looking at the phone, thinking that she needed to call a few people.

Anders had managed to piece together from the broadcasts that Savannah had had something to do with the plan to get Wyatt back to normal, and that meant it was time to go check up on a little sister.

He headed down the hallway and knocked on Savannah's door.

Eve knocked lightly at her daughter's door.

Savannah lifted her head. "It's open."

"Little sis," Anders said gently as he let himself in, "what in hell did you end up doing to yourself?"

Eve let herself in quietly. "Hey, you," she said softly, shutting the door behind her. "How're you feeling? Any better?"

"Wyatt healed me," she said quietly. "But, he couldn't heal the exhaustion from the power use and the migraine from it. Johnny took me to the clinic this morning."

"I'd offer to take another whack at it, but I'm not sure how much help it'd be," Eve said. "I can provide company for a little bit, though, if you want."

Savannah smiled slightly. "Fought an evil version of my big brother and the rocks won. I also may ahve used too much magic killing a teddy bear."

"Dr. Troy gave me painkillers and stuff to help me sleep -- and instructions to rest until Monday."

Anders came over and pulled a chair up beside the bed, sitting down and reaching over to take her hand. "Little sis, you gotta take care of yourself. You're gonna be okay, right?"

"Then I'd say training with Sean is so incredibly out," Eve said. "And you can copy my notes from Ethics class if you want. I'll even talk to Professor Skywalker so he knows what's going on."

In came Johnny, pizza box in hand with a six pack of beer. Better not to question how he got it. "Pizza," he said to his girlfriend. "Pizza and water for you. Then you take your meds and you sleep." Pizza might not have been the best food item he could have gotten, but it sure sounded good.

Savannah nodded. "Wyatt healed my wounds from our fight on the beach and Johnny took me to the clinic to get stuff to help me sleep and get my energy back."

Savannah smiled. "Thanks mom... can you tell Sean what happened for me?"

Savannah pouted about the water and looked at beer with a very cute expression on her face.

"Yeah, of course," Eve said. "But call him in a couple days, though, just so he knows you didn't fall off the face of the earth or anything." Sean had been a teensy bit overprotective ever since the whole thing with the angels, but really, you couldn't believe him.

He knew well that cute look and Johnny shook his finger at her. "No. Beer and pain meds do not mix well together. I cannot be swayed, baby. Nope. No way." He went about fixing her a slice on a paper plate and handed it over with a napkin as he bent and kissed her mouth softly. "Love you."

Anders was pretty sure that had to have been awkward. "I'm glad you're gonna be okay. Proud of you."

"He hates that his evil self tried to kill me, Anders. Please... don't make him feel wose."

"I'll call him as soon as Johnny decides I've rested enough and can talk to people."

"What, you can't decide for yourself?" Then she remembered who she was talking to. "Good idea."

"Hey. Been through that," Anders pointed out. "Dated the former Source of All Evil for a while there, so it's not like I would go bitch him out. I'll talk to him. But I need to know you're gonna be okay too."

"He healed me," she said quietly.

That didn't answer the question of being okay, now did it?
