After the awesome Cheerleader Show, Savannah had gotten a shower and changed into something comfortable before making her way back to her room. Exhaustion and an achey shoulder had caused her to have to pass on the slumber party with the rest of the squad.

She let herself into the room and then went and collapsed on her bed.

A week of no classes was a wonderful thing.

Johnny came in after taking a shower himself and was just wearing a pair of gym shorts. He tossed his stuff over on the bed he was using and looked over at Savannah. "Hey, sweetheart."

Savannah smiled and waved, and then winced, pain crossing her face. "Hey."

"I knew it. All those damned tosses you let Chad do." He crossed the room and sat down on the edge of her bed. "Why?"

"Because it's what I do, Johnny. It's the squad and we wanted to put on a good show for the school." She tried to smile. "I'll be fine. Just a little tender is all."

"One would have been enough. I was there, watching. You let him keep tossing you, Savannah. I lost count how many times." No he didn't, he was just being stubborn right now. "Take off your shirt and roll over on your stomach."

"We were celebrating, Johnny. The bitch is gone and Zoe's back. That in and of itself is worth the pain right now."

Savannah struggled out of her shirt and rolled over onto her stomach.

"I get that," he said more softly now. "I just worry about you." This protective boyfriend stuff was a strong instict in him and he supposed he ought to try and handle it better.

Johnny came up over her, straddling her rear but not putting his weight on her. He heated his body and put his hands to her shoulders, beginning to rub very gently. "Tell me if I use too much pressure, sweetheart."

She liked the protective boyfriend instinct. She thought it was sexy.

"I'll try not to give you much to worry about, sweetie," she said softly. "That feels nice."

He worked his fingers carefully into her neck and shoulders, working them muscles. She was so small, so prettily built. He increased the heat.

Savannah closed her eyes. "We put on a damned good show though, don't you think?"

"I do think. You cheerleaders are sexy hot in your little skirts." He said, amused. Johnny leaned down and pressed his lips between her shoulder blades.

"They flip up quite nicely when we're flying through the air. Brings everyone's attention to us," Savannah agreed. "They seem to like how much the skirts show of our legs and stuff." She shivered a little when he kissed her.

Wait a minute. She turned that around on him pretty quickly. He didn't need other guys checking out his girlfriend. Yeah, he knew they would - but damn he didn't think he liked it.

Johnny grunted and working his hands down further.

Savannah let out a sigh. "That really does feel nice, Johnny."

She hadn't tried to bring his attention to the fact that guys would be checking her out, it had just come out.

"I'm glad, baby," he moved off of her, laying along side her and resting his head in his hand. The other he kept on her back, massaging and making his hand as hot as he could without hurting her. "You are so beautiful," he whispered, watching his hand move over her the delicate line of her back.

She smiled, lifting her head to look at him. "Thank you," she said softly. She wasn't used to being called beautiful, so each time he said that, it made her feel warm inside.

He met her eyes and then looked at her mouth. Moving over, he kissed her softly, his mouth warm.

Kissing Johnny was nice. She could do this for a very long time.

So could Johnny. Johnny could actually do a lot more than kissing.

He moved closer to her, his hand now settling down low against her hip.

Savannah turned so that she was facing him, running a hand down his arm.

His fingers curved over, caressing down just slightly. Johnny deepened the kiss, moving up and over her a bit more.

Savannah made a soft sound and wrapped her arms -- sore or not -- around him, running one hand along his back.

He murmured low in his chest, her name, the sound deep and rumbling. Her hand felt nice and warm and Johnny pulled from her mouth to kiss along her jawline, trailing a path down to her neck.

His hand slipped up to lay against her side, just along her ribcage.

Savannah moved closer to him, tilting her head so he had better access to her neck. One hand moved up and down his back gerntly, while the other was running gently through his hair.
