Room 217, Early Saturday Morning

She had managed to get dressed with only a little amount of difficulty -- having decided buttons were evil created by sorcerers and opted for a dress she could pull over her head, instead. Less fighting that way.
After that she pulled her bag from the chair and looked inside. Yes, just like she wanted, her "g'more" (a composition book filled with scribbles and crayon marks) and her "arty" stuff (coloring book and crayons) were inside the bag. Being a considerate little girl, she put one of her stuffed animals in the bag so nothing would get lonely. (Okay, it was her favorite bear that she didn't go any where without. Shut up.)
After she was dressed and had played with Destiny, she took a few minutes to crawl back on the bed.
"Joooohhhhnnnny," she whispered -- well, as a four year old did. "Are you awake yet?" Hrmm. She started to pull the blanket away from his face so she could look at him. "Jooohhhnnnny...."
