A Corner of The Beach, Evening

After classes and art club, Savannah headed out to the beach to do some practicing with her magic. She hadn't practiced in awhile and knew that she needed to get back into the routine of that. Her family would be disappointed in her if she allowed her magic to become weak from lack of practicing.

She wasn't going to do any of the darker spells right now -- she knew better. Those were spells that she'd have to work on with Sean or Eve.

No, the spell she was going to work on was her force bolts spell and maybe her breaking spell. Those were the more difficult ones and the ones that tended to need more energy for her to use.

After warming up and working on some of the smaller spells, Savannah created a barrier around her and the boulders that she planned to practice on. She had done this numerous times before, so she was confident in her movements.

However, this time something did go wrong.

It wasn't until the spell hit the boulder that Savannah realized that her measurements were off and she wasn't far enough away from what was going to be a bit of an explosion.

She barely had time to turn her head so she could shield her face when pain slammed into her head and everything went dark.
