Room 217, Monday Morning

At some point in the middle of the night, Storm, Kristofer and Wynter had climbed into bed with their parents. That would be why there was a snuggle pile in the bed in 217 come Monday morning.

Savannah woke up at some point to find that both of girls were holding onto her... and Wynter even seemed to be holding onto Storm as well. Lifting her head, she saw that Kristofer was on the other side of Johnny and Destiny... Destiny was curled up at the foot of the bed.

"Need a bigger bed," she murmured to no one in particular.

Savannah had been silent on the walk back from the portal in the park with Johnny. She hadn't said a word since watching Wynter and then Kristofer and Storm leave.

When she got to the room, she saw everything the way they had left it earlier. There were some of the toys they had bought strewn around and the beds on the floor they had made them.

Savannah sat down on the floor, intending to start cleaning stuff up, but she couldn't seem to do it. She reached out for the bear that Storm had been sleeping with and that was when she felt the tears start.
