Room 217, Very Early Saturday Morning

It had taken awhile for Savannah to fall asleep the night before and even as she finally did sleep, it wasn't a peaceful one.

It was about dawn when the dreams started getting bad enough that she was making jerking motions in her sleep...and shortly after that, she started whimpering and crying softly.

It was obviously not a good night for a certain witchling.

Savannah was torn. She didn't want him to tangle with Leah -- or any other enemy from her past that might show up -- but on the other hand, this was Johnny. He loved her and her safety was important to him.

"I promised,' she said softly. "I know I can depend on you, and if there's trouble, I'll make sure you know."
